This Saturday, Kar a will be available at teh BRC from 11-4pm for painting expertise!  She will be showing off the latest examples of our newly fired speciality glazes, as well as 2 different ways of painting platters!  Start off your spring break with a bang – come paint with us!  There are only 4 eggs left available for painting, so come early, see you there!

 

Piggy Bank Painting! March 15, 2010

This Saturday, this kids came out to paint their very own ‘piggy’  banks.  This was an endearing moment for me since these were the children of the mother’s who painted banks for them at my studio when they were just babies! Let’s Prepare for Easter! March 12, 2010

We are inserting an extra workshop this weekend amongst are regularly scheduled (1st & 2nd Saturdays in the month) in order to prepare for Easter & get a jump start on Spring Break!  Details are as usual, 11-5pm, at the BRC, green building behind the museum, at the back of the Enerplex.  I have been watching some webinar’s on some new tips & techniques, so I will have the details ready to show & share this Saturday!  Hope to see you there!

It’s looking like spring is upon us early – which is a great reminder to start those treasured Easter projects early!  Though I do thinnk that the old saying is true & that there will be a return to winter later in the month.  But that ‘s okay – painting is an indoor sport!!

This Saturday I, Erika will finally be available in person to aid you in your painting masterpiece, with all sorts of tips & tricks, as well as a demo on the newly aquired speciality glazes (one even sparkles!)!!! 

So, same time same place: 11-5pm, Saturday March 6th, at the BRC (Business Resource Centre), green building behind the museum – on the back entrance into the Enerplex.  See you there!!
