Hi everyone, sorry it’s been a while since I have updated the site.  Things have been a changing, so we have been ironing out the wrinkles!

It’s just been easier to become a home – service, no more regular workshops as of yet.  What does this mean for you?  Call or email to schedule a time when I come to your home to do a party, or help with painting some hand-prints of your child onto a piece.  I can then leave the kit with you to finish off the decorating, then pick it up in a few days to take it back to my home studio to fire your pieces in the kiln.

Christmas time is quickly drawing upon us, hand painted ceramics are the perfect gift for anyone!  Plus, with winter drawing near, what better than to book a ladies night get together or your child’s sleepover to include some ceramics painting!

Summary of prices:

Studio fee (includes: paint, supplies & firing) $5 per child, $10 per adult

Party fee: $20 for 4-10 people, $50 for more

Ceramic Pieces range from $4 to $40

Workshop Painting Time this Month July 8, 2010

This month we will be hosting our montly workshop on:

Come on down & experiment with new speciality glazes, or just stop by for a fun summer actvity to do to get out of the hot summer sun!

Painting this Saturday! June 9, 2010

This Saturday, the 12th will be the only public painting workshop we will be holding since we are on a schedule of monthly workshops for the summer!  11am to 4pm, at the BRC (green building behind the museum).

Lets work on some projects for Father’s Day & those teacher projects!  As well, some people are gearing up for Christmas gifts already!

I have brought in some new specialty glazes as well as some platters for those of you planning weddings – this is a great signature project, ask me how!

Since I am a mug fanatic, I am now selling my painted creations at Cosmic Grounds – now newly owned by Devon of Patch Java!  Stop on by for some fresh locally roasted coffee!

So, if you can’t make it this Saturday, you can always call me for a session: we now offer A MOBILE PAINTING STUDIO!  This can be either of 2 ways: I drop off a painting package to you with your choice of pieces for your gathering or group, then pick it up in a couple of days. OR, I come & do a party for you (minimum of 3 people, max is infinite!)  in our home, office or wherever for a couple of hours!  Cost is $20 per party (up to 10 people), $5 per child & $10 per adult for the painting/firing fee, then the price per piece ($4 & up).

Down to once a month for the next season May 5, 2010

Sadly, due to lack of interest & the upcoming good weather season, we will solely be doing a once a month event at the BRC (Business Resource Centre, green building behind the museum).  That is THIS Saturday, 10-2pm, & not again until the beginning of June – in time for Father’s Day gift painting!

Our new format is now a MOBILE PAINTING STUDIO!  How this works is that we bring all the ceramics, painting & supplies to you – guide you along for a couple of hours, or drop the stuff off for a couple of days.  We then take it back & fire it in the kiln, where upon we deliver it back to you so you can show off your mad skills to your friends!  This can basically be done anytime, anywhere!

This weekend, we will be at the BRC (as usual the green building behind the museum) 11-4pm for you to come & explore your creative side with us there to supply tips & tricks!  There will be the regular stock available to paint, as well as a sale table!
